Dear brothers and sisters, the Wuhan coronavirus continues to spread and threatens the lives of many. TACMC will begin to put in place a series of preventive measures to reduce the risk of the virus spreading in our congregation. One of the preventive measures is attendance taking on Sunday for “contact tracing”. It will create inconvenience for everyone. But for the sake of your health and the health of all brothers and sisters in Christ, we sincerely ask for your cooperation during this trying times. All that is required for attendance taking is one member per family who has an email address. If no one in your family has an email address, don’t worry, our church youth volunteers will set up a counter after service in the social hall to help you. The procedure for taking attendance is as follows:
(1) Download “Church Center App” from App Store or Google Play.
Look for Telok Ayer Chinese Methodist Church.
(2) Enter your email address. Search your email inbox or Junk Mail for an email generated by the App with a 6-digit code. If your email address matches your profile data in the church membership database, you will login successfully. Otherwise, you will be prompted to create a new profile by entering your last name and first name.
(3) On the landing page, look for the “Check-In” button on the bottom of the screen. Tap on it and the names of your family members will show up. Select the family members whom you wish to check in, then tap on “Next”. A QR code will be generated in the App. Let one of our youth volunteers scan your QR code as you exit / enter the sanctuary. Your attendance is successful recorded.
If the Church Center App does not show all your family members, kindly contact Ps Ming Zhong (9738 9003) or Lester (8222 4482). We will update the membership database. After setting this up for the first time, you only need to do Step (3) each time you come for Sunday Service. Steps (1) and (2) are for one-time setup only.
If you need help to take attendance for whatever reasons, please come look for our youth volunteers in the social hall after Mandarin Service.
